Bryan H. Long, PE
President, Concrete Matters

Bryan began his career in construction in 1996 with Dane Construction. Over the course of the next 19 years Bryan served many roles at Dane Construction, including Field Engineer, Project Manager, Estimator, and Vice President of Operations before launching Concrete Matters in 2015.

 

Bryan has an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, a Masters in Business Administration, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in NC.  In his role as President for Concrete Matters, Bryan leads the management and preconstruction teams to ensure the company meets or exceeds their annual goals for all metrics and has a strategic growth plan for continued success.

 

“Construction is a unique career.  I have the joy of waking up every day to improve the lives of others in my community by providing better and safer roads, bridges, water containment systems, buildings, and many other necessities.  As a leader I also enjoy the privilege of building people and helping them reach their goals.

 

In addition to work, I spend my time exercising my body and mind, loving and playing with my wife and dogs, and golfing. I have the privilege of being married to an elementary school teacher that has allowed me to become a volunteer mentor for elementary children which has been a life changing experience.”
